Office of Equal Business Opportunity Offers Teleconference Sessions for Small Businesses

The Palm Beach County Office of Equal Business Opportunity (OEBO) will host "Tuesday's Tips," a weekly teleconference created to provide up-to-date information to the small business community. 

The inaugural Tuesday's Tips session will be held on April 7 at 1 p.m. via the Zoom app, audio.  It will feature Senator Bobby Powell; Sandra Marin, regional director, Florida SBDC at FAU; Fabiola Brumley, vice chairman Business Banking and Palm Beach president, Bank of America; Andrew McGinnis, regional vice president Palm Beach & Treasure Coast Region, TD Bank; Thais Sullivan, vice president, CRA Officer for Florida, Valley Bank; and Meri Weymer, Economic Sustainability business coordinator, PBC Department of Housing and Economic Sustainability. 

Participants will respond to questions regarding Emergency Bridge Loans, the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and the Palm Beach County Micro Loan Program.  The OEBO has sent notice to 8,390 registered Palm Beach County vendors and their resource partners inviting them to join the scheduled call. 

Tuesday's Tips will be presented weekly for the small business community and will include tips for sustaining business in response to COVID-19 and other pertinent information to support our local small businesses.
